Transplanting tips
Always water young seedlings before you transplant or pot them on. Dry roots tear and break easily, and the plants will take far longer to bounce back. Water and let them stand for an hour to make sure the compost is thoroughly soaked: the roots will be much more supple and your plants will hardly notice they've been moved.
