Beat blackspot
Keep blackspot at bay by gathering up all the infected leaves which have fallen on the ground beneath your plants and getting rid of them. Pick off affected leaves where possible, too, and prune out any stems showing lesions if you can. Regular spraying with a fungicide specially formulated for blackspot also helps keep the disease under control.
