Lavender drying tips
Cut baskets full of deliciously scented lavender flowers to dry and bring indoors, filling your house with scent and making a pretty dried flower arrangement too. You can use them to scent your bath, too: just fill a muslin bag with dried lavender flowers and hang it under the hot tap. Pick flowers just before they're fully open and tie together in small bunches, then hang them to dry for a couple of weeks in an airy place out of direct sunlight.
